We will be looking forward over the next couple of months with the national TUC demonstration in March and the local elections in May.  Everyone is welcome to attend, and give their input into the kinds of things we should be planning to do running up to these events.

  2. Hello all at BATC.
I’ve had a letter from the Labour Party (Ed Balls) inviting me to what looks like one of these meetings to discuss “a different approach to the cuts”. I thought you might want to perhaps target or leaflet the meeting, which is scheduled to take place @ 5:45pm on 17 March. The venue is somewhere in Selly Oak but it is looks like a hand-picked audience job. However, you can get the venue by logging on to

Hope this is of some use.
