The PCS union has called for a labour movement demonstration on Saturday 9 April to defend the people of Ukraine. It is supported by the GMB, CWU, ASLEF, and BFWU unions.
It is based on the following demands:
- Russian troops out of Ukraine
- No to Putin’s war
- Support Ukraine’s trade unions
- Ukrainian refugees welcome

We support the demands of the demonstration which are:

This meeting agrees to:
Mobilise our members to attend the demonstration with our banner;
Make a donation to International Trade Union Confederation appeal to support its Ukrainian member organisations FPU and KVPU;
Affiliate to the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign which is collaborating with Ukrainian unions and progressive organisations such as Sotsialny Rukh (Social Movement)
