‘Working Together in Birmingham’s Neighbourhoods’, Wed 25 Sept 10am – 1pm, Council House Banqueting Suite

A half-day event, hosted by Cllr Sharon Thompson, Cabinet Member, Homes and Neighbourhoods.

The agenda will include:

  • An update on the Working Together in Birmingham’s Neighbourhoods White Paper as approved by Cabinet in January 2019.
  • The formal launch of “Pioneer” wards and neighbourhoods
  • A Q&A panel session
  • Roundtable sessions (attendees are able to select a maximum of three when registering their place):

Funding– what current funding is available from a range of sources and tips and hints on applying

Good practice – an opportunity to find out what others are doing and their outcomes/ findings

Parish Councils– what are they and how do they work…

Influencing decisions– what are the various decision making groups and how you can get more involved

You decide– this will be a networking opportunity where the participants will decide the topic of the discussion

  • Localism in Action marketplace and networking opportunity
