  • Matt Man Windle – Former Young Poet Laureate
  • Signing Choir – Songs performed in BSL by adults and children
  • Spoz – Poet, songwriter and performer
  • Music Academy – Music by a SEND pupil and teacher


  • Marcella Meehan – National Deaf Children’s Society will interpret the event
  • Jack Dromey – MP for Erdington
  • Kath Scott – BCC Councillor for Sutton Vesey
  • Laura Watts – Children’s Quarter
  • Rebecca Harris – Parent
  • Callum Read and mum – Former Kings Heath Primary SEND pupil

  • SOS!SEN – Independent advice for SEND families
  • Face Painting – Free face painting and glitter
  • Parks for Play – Inclusive games and activities for all ages and abilities
  • Beacon Family Services – Quiet play area
  • Break out sensory area – soft seating and calm space
  • Sikh Drummer – Drumming up support for our cause
  • Heart Decorating and Bunting making – Help to create an installation of your personal messages and experiences
  • Poster colouring – Make a poster to put in your window when you get home
  • Craft activities – Pens, colouring, paper, glue, get stuck in and make something brilliant!
  • Construction toys – Lego and Duplo to keep kids busy
  • Banner signing – ‘We Are SEND National Crisis Birmingham’ Add your name to our banner.
  • Selfie stand – Write a message, take a photo and share it on social media
