    “£150 million cuts implies a further 3000 jobs will be lost this year on top of the 8000 lost since 2009.

    In 2008, year of 3 council strikes over 5 days (1+2+2) there were 42,000 council workers: I remember that 20,000 were in the unions and so that is below a majority. Anyway, what are the figures now please: for number of council workers, and number of those in the unions?
