Direct Payments/Individual Budgets just another way this council is penalising vulnerable. There has been no pay rise since 2006 in spite of added pressures on the budgets assessments are still outstanding in many cases budgets are stopped altogether. Charles Alldrick was told by a social worker to kill himself. Meeting at MAC tomorrow at 10 or attend budget meetings, I intend taking class action which may bankrupt social services but they don’t care as they are still being paid, getting rises and expenses
