Our next meeting will be on Monday 12th November from 6:30pm. Paul Cockburn from the local Fire Brigades Union (FBU) takling about cuts to the fire service funding, an obviously extremely important emergency service we all hope never to need. There will then be a discussion about this cut, how it will affect us in Birmingham and what we should do about it. This section will last around 45 minutes in total and will then be followed by around 45 minutes of organisational matters discussing ongoing campaigns and upcoming events.

Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting, please come along and help to build opposition and resistance to the governments austerity agenda, which is failing to reduce the deficit and will see Birmingham City Council’s budget slashed by £600m by 2017.
